"Powered by Hope" Sundaes Help Lick Cancer

“Powered By Hope” is the perfect team-name for Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream owner Beckie Jacobs, who is cycling 50 miles in September to raise funds for Pedal The Cause. She also found a sweet way in which you can help this amazing organization too…

During September, she is donating $1 from all single scoop sundae sales and $2 from all double scoop sundae sales!

We even went ahead and created a Pedal The Cause dedicated sundae that is “inspired” by the colors in their logo: blue and gold. It is made with our famous blue Cookie Monster and our dark chocolate Gold Coast fan-favorite, enhanced with hot fudge and marshmallow sauces, and topped with a bevy of blue and gold sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Note that Beckie plans on riding 50-miles during Pedal The Cause on Sunday, September 26th. Go Beckie!

Dipity Dough of the Month: S'more The Merrier

August 10, 2021, marks the 200th anniversary of Missouri statehood... Communities across the state have been encouraged to commemorate that day with an ice cream social! Nothing brings people together like ice cream, and an Ice Cream Social is an appropriate way to celebrate, since the ice cream cone is the official state dessert.

Click here for details about the event at our shop that day!

Our July Neapolitan and Save the Date

Each month, we create a fun and delicious three flavor “Neapolitan” Ice Cream. July's Neapolitan is Star Spangled Berry, which is made with our Blueberry, Vanilla, and Raspberry Chip ice creams. You gotta stop in and try it! So good!

A portion of the party proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of St. Louis, in which owner Beckie Jacobs has been an avid supporter for years. And a really quck message from Beckie:

“We are so grateful for all of the love and loyalty we’ve received over the past 18 years and we can’t wait to shower our guests and friends with the same on the 18th! Running a small business during the pandemic was challenging. We never could have prevailed without the sweet support of our Webster Groves friends and the St. Louis community.”

Spirited Shake of the Month: Life's a Peach

Our Spirited Shake for July is called, “Life’s a Peach!” Inspired by a Dark and Stormy cocktail and the fantastic spirits made locally by StilL 630, we take their Expedition Rum and add it to our Ginger Peach ice cream, then top with whipped cream and chocolate chips. It tastes like summer!

Neapolitan of the Month + Red Hot Riplet Ice Cream

June's Neopolitan Ice Cream has a decadent nutty, chocolaty, coffee theme. We couldn't stop thinking about mocha coffee served with little amaretti cookies/biscuits and came up with our Amaretti Mocha, made with chocolate, coffee, and toasted almond ice creams. So good!

There is no better way to celebrate Father’s Day on June 20th than with a scoop of our Red Hot Riplet flavored ice cream with chunks of chocolate covered Old Vienna Red Hot Riplets. Just don’t knock it until you’ve tried it! Speaking of Dad’s Day, we’re mentioned in St. Louis Magazine.

Dipity Dough of the Month + Beer Floats

June is all about Dad. Our Dipity Dough of the Month is called “Father Knows Best” and is made with a scoop of Swiss Chip Ice Cream and two fresh Scotch Oatmeal Cookies, then drizzled with Marshmallow Topping.

How about a beer? If you have yet to try one of our Beer Floats, then you’ll love tasting a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream served with Four Hands' Bohemian Breakfast (Oatmeal Brown Ale with Coffee). Delicious!
