Oh My, I Want an Ice Cream Pie. Taking Holiday Orders Now!

Why settle for a plain pumpkin pie when you can eat a delicious pie made with Pumpkin Ice Cream? We are taking holiday orders for: Thanksgiving, Chanukah, Christmas (or all through November and December). Must call the Ice Cream Shop at 314-962-2700 from 2 pm to 9 pm!

Choose whatever Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream flavor you like best. Our regular Ice Cream Pie is only $18, or you can take it to the next level with a “Bird’s Nest” Ice Cream Pie that includes two flavors for $20. Your holiday party just got more fun and a whole lot more delicious!

Neapolitan of the Month: Nutty Pumpkin Cheesecake

Each month, we create a fun and delicious three flavor “Neapolitan” Ice Cream. Fall is finally here and we were in the mood for a little something pumpkin when sitting by the fire pit after a long day of raking leaves.

Serendipity’s October Neapolitan of the Month is called: Nutty Pumpkin Cheesecake. It's made with our Pumpkin, Cheesecake, and Black Walnut ice creams. You gotta stop in and try this at our Webster Groves shop!

Our Pink Squirrel Spirited Shake Gives Back! #Pinktober

Did you know about our Spirited Shake of the Month? October’s Spirited Shake is a Pink Squirrel! It is made with Creme de Noyaux (Pink Almond Liqueur), Creme de Cacao, and Serendipity’s Vanilla Ice Cream.

We’re doing our part all during "Pinktober" with $1 of every purchase of a Pink Squirrel - or any Spirited Shake - going to Gateway to Hope. So help the cause and order any of our boozy shakes anytime during October.

Dipity Dough of the Month: Cookies & Scream

Our latest Dipity Dough of the Month is certainly no joke! Serendipity is serving up our version of the “Cookies & Cream” classic in a way that will get you ready for the colder weather at the end of the month.

Frighteningly fun! Scary delicious! Warm chocolate cookies hold a scoop of orange color vanilla ice cream & Oreo cookies. Then drizzle with some chocolate sauce for an October favorite that is all treat and no trick!

Spirited Shake and Second Location

Introducing the September Spirited Shake of the Month: Caramel Apple Cocktail. It's made with Calvados Apple Brandy, Big O Ginger Liqueur, and Caramel Ice Cream, then topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. Stop in and sip one at our Webster Groves shop!

All new 2nd Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream location. Exciting news! Serendipity Ice Cream will be opening a 2nd (larger) location in The Grove. Check out George Mahe's article in St. Louis Magazine and stay tuned for more details in the coming months!

"Powered by Hope" Sundaes Help Lick Cancer

“Powered By Hope” is the perfect team-name for Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream owner Beckie Jacobs, who is cycling 50 miles in September to raise funds for Pedal The Cause. She also found a sweet way in which you can help this amazing organization too…

During September, she is donating $1 from all single scoop sundae sales and $2 from all double scoop sundae sales!

We even went ahead and created a Pedal The Cause dedicated sundae that is “inspired” by the colors in their logo: blue and gold. It is made with our famous blue Cookie Monster and our dark chocolate Gold Coast fan-favorite, enhanced with hot fudge and marshmallow sauces, and topped with a bevy of blue and gold sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Note that Beckie plans on riding 50-miles during Pedal The Cause on Sunday, September 26th. Go Beckie!

Dipity Dough of the Month: S'more The Merrier

Who is ready for cooler weather and nights sitting around the fire pit? Our September Dipity Dough is called, “S'more The Merrier!” It is made with Graham Chocolate Chip Cookies and Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream.

Keep it simple -or- drizzle on some chocolate sauce and marshmallow topping to take it to the next level. It is delicious and you simply must try it this month. Once it’s gone, it is gone!

Escape: The Piña Colada Spirited Shake

Introducing the August Spirited Shake of the Month: Escape! Take our Neapolitan of the Month (read below), add Plantation Rum, and top with whipped cream, pineapple wedge, and a cherry. Go ahead and sing:

And our August Neapolitan of the Month: Piña Colada, inspired by the classic tropical island drink. A great way to cool off on a hot summer day. Made with pineapple ice cream, coconut ice cream, key lime ice cream!

Missouri Bicentennial Ice Cream Social

Aug. 10th is the 200th anniversary of our statehood… and communities are commemorating the day with an “Ice Cream Social!” Nothing brings people together like ice cream, and an ice cream social is an appropriate way to celebrate since the ice cream cone is the official state dessert!

Serendipity is hosting an event that day. We will have TWO special ice cream flavors in the dip case as well as a special offer for a FREE Waffle Cone Upgrade that day (read below). We’re also serving our ice cream at the Field House Museum and the Webster Groves Hawken House.

"Show Me You're Nuts" is a Bourbon Walnut Toffee Ice Cream. This is a special all-Missouri collaboration with: Bourbon from StilL 630 (St. Louis, MO), Hammons Black Walnuts (Stockton, MO), and Belle Toffee (Kansas City, MO)

We are also serving Gooey Butter Ice Cream. Since Missouri and the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair is the birthplace of the ice cream cone, anyone who says "Show Me Your Waffle Cone" at the shop gets a FREE Waffle Cone Upgrade that day!

You are invited to hang out at the historic Field House Museum for an ice cream social on August 10th, 1-3 pm. They’ll have Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream (with all the toppings), backyard games, and face painting. And indoors you can tour the historic house and explore the galleries. Tickets are only $10 and include a frozen treat from us!

Ice Cream Day… and Our 18th Birthday

Summer isn't summer without NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY and everyone is going to scream for ice cream on Sunday, July 18th, which also happens to fall on Serendipity Ice Cream’s 18th birthday!

The day-long extravaganza includes deeply discounted ice cream, new flavor launches, live music, face painting, balloon making, giveaways galore, celebratory swag, and so much more!

A portion of the party proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of St. Louis, in which owner Beckie Jacobs has been an avid supporter for years. And a really quck message from Beckie:

“We are so grateful for all of the love and loyalty we’ve received over the past 18 years and we can’t wait to shower our guests and friends with the same on the 18th! Running a small business during the pandemic was challenging. We never could have prevailed without the sweet support of our Webster Groves friends and the St. Louis community.”
