Our Ice Cream Shop is Now Open: Safety Steps & New Hours

Our Ice Cream Shop is back open to “walk-up” customers as of Friday, June 12th. In order to keep everyone safe, and in response to federal, state, and local guidelines, we are taking these safety steps:

1. Our team members will be asked to take their temperature and our managers will inquire if any team member has been sick or exposed to anyone with COVID-19 in the past two weeks.

2. Our shop recently received a deep cleaning. Our team members will perform regular cleaning & sanitizing during the day. Hand washing will be scheduled and recorded by our managers.

3. Masks, gloves, and face shields will be worn by our team. We also request that customers wear masks. Please bring your own. We will also have extra masks (in case customers forget).

4. Customers will be required to enter our Ice Cream Shop from the rear (parking lot) entrance and to exit our Ice Cream Shop from the front (street) entrance. One way in and one way out.

5. We must social distance and limit the number of customers in our shop at one time. Come to the back door, note new floor markings, then only enter when you can stand on a marking!

Starting June 12th, hours are 2 pm to 9 pm. Thanks for all your support and patience during this time! Also, if you are not yet ready to enter our shop, we will still offer curbside pick-up where you can order kits, packs, pints, and now “single servings” from our curbside menu at:

We're Closed Until the "Stay at Home" Order is Lifted

If you recently tried to order online or via the phone, then you know that Serendipity Ice Cream is now closed. This does not mean we are closed forever, but we will surely stay closed through the "Stay at Home" order that was recently announced.

Once again, we want to take this time to say “THANKS” to all for the love and appreciation you have shown us. We plan to be back better, stronger and when the weather is nicer. We can’t wait to see your smiling faces enjoying our ice cream again!

Note to Our Guests About Coronavirus and Curbside Service

The safety and well being of guests and employees is our top priority. We have spent the last few weeks learning about the Coronavirus and it’s community impact. We are monitoring both the WHO and the CDC on all steps we can take to prevent the spread of the virus.

The steps we are taking include: Having three handwashing stations and having employees be diligent about wearing gloves. Having an employee dedicated to continuously monitoring and cleaning surfaces. Requiring all employees to take their temperature before coming to work. Informing all employees to stay home if they (or anyone in their families) are feeling ill.

Finally, we are offering Serendipity Curbside Service to our customers. Simply fill out a new online order form for scoops, shakes, malts, pints, or dipstixs. This is made with our Super Premium Mint Chip Ice Cream and a shot of Jameson Whiskey, which is all mixed together and topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and a cherry eye. It’s the perfect way to end a busy day (whether or not you go to the parade)!

Dipity Dough of the Month: Lucky Choc O'Minty

Inspired by St. Patrick's Day, Serendipity Ice Cream’s Dipity Dough of the Month is called a Lucky Choc O'Minty. And it is the most delicious way to spend time waiting for the weather to turn from winter to spring. So stop in and visit our Webster Groves Ice Cream Shop!

It is made with a scoop of our Mint Chip Super Premium Ice Cream and then warmed between two freshly baked Chocolate Cookies filled with chopped Andes Mints. Let's just go ahead and say that this particular ice cream sandwich definitely Sham-rocks!
